Photos with the Samsung S23 Ultra: 30 Days Later
I started using a Samsung S23 Ultra a month ago; it was my first time using Android again since 2016. I've been carrying a "real camera" with me daily, and I haven't really been convinced about using a phone as my go-to camera for daily use, travel, or capturing moments I would like to remember (even though the iPhone 13 mini has been the perfect "street" camera).
The great thing about the S23 Ultra is that it has four cameras (0.6x, 1x, 3x, and 10x), so it feels like carrying four lenses with you and switching from one to another is easy. I could also shoot RAW photos (something I didn't do on my iPhone 13 mini). I have also been using a small phone tripod for long exposures at night.
What's refreshing is that most people don't mind if you are taking a 30-second exposure on the phone. The form factor of using a phone for photography isn't something I like, but it is very convenient, and I am not carrying my other cameras as I did before. I still prefer a Ricoh GR, a film camera point-and-shoot, or anything with a variable aperture.
Here is a collection of photos I took with the Samsung S23 Ultra in the last 30 days.
